I will take a wild guess and say that you are reading this because you are struggling in one way or another to make ends meet. Are you having trouble paying your bills? Maybe you are able to pay your bills but, every pay you get is gone as soon as you get it. Your pay all goes toward bills and groceries and then you are left with nothing. Are your children always asking for things and you can't provide them with them things because you just don't have the money?
It doesn't feel good to always owe money or never have any money. Trust me, I know the feeling. I have hurted for most of my life. I have had to resort to food banks and this is one of the worst feelings and embarrassing too. I felt ashamed when I had to do these things. I have also had to live in motels for a brief period of my life. I will explain that in another section of my site though. These are some of my reasons I chose to create about how to live a happier life. I want to help as many people as I can so, they don't need to feel them feelings I felt on my journey. It can be very depressing. If I can make a difference even for one person I would be happy.
You need to want to make changes in your life regardless of your comfort level. You must have an open mind to everything I will be telling you. If you owe money on some of your bills, accept that maybe you made a mistake along the way. You must be willing to make arrangements with the company so you can pay it off as soon as possible. You get charged late fees plus interest when you fall behind on your bill payments. When you make that phone call to make a payment arrangement be totally honest with the person on the other end because sometimes when you do so they will understand, just don't take advantage of them. Another great thing to do is ask the company after you catch up on your bill if they have APP (automatic payment plan). This is when you can have the bill payment withdrawn from your bank account each month. They let you know how much it will be and when before they do the withdrawl. This is a great way to pay your bills because it can also establish your credit at the same time. Just make sure you have the money in the account.
Do not whine and complain about how hard it is to change. You just need to do your best. Nobody said that change is easy. It will be hard at first and then you will grow to get used to it. You must stop spending money that you really do not have. Start living within your means. No more excuses, no more whining, no more headaches, just begin taking responsibility. You need to figure out where you went wrong and fix it.
If your life sucks right now, I'm sure you may have a little something to do with it. Are you willing to make sacrifices to make things right? "Life's too short" to sit around and mope about things. Start making yourself happy. Stop worrying about what other people are doing with their families, or where they are going on vacation, driving to, etc. This is a big problem with people, they are always competing with their siblings, neighbours or friends. Who cares people??? Worry about yourself. That person may seem to have a lot of things you don't have but, are they truly happy? They may seem happy when you see or speak to them but really you don't know how their life really is behind closed doors. What I am trying to say is money can't buy happiness. It is up to you on being happy. You can reduce the pressure or stress you may feel from overworking yourself or falling behind on things. So, it's time to gain a positive attitude and only think positive. I know it is hard but in reality you can't get anywhere by being negative. Nobody will want to be around you either.
If you are a smoker or a drinker you need to think about what you are doing to your body and wallet. If you smoke you're literally burning your money and killing your lungs. I used to smoke, I understand it's easier said than done. Think about how much money you can save each month by quitting. If you go through a pack a day and spend $8.00 a pack, that is $56.00 a week, $224.00 a month or $2688.00 a year. That is a good amount of money you can put toward a car, house, vacation, child's education, etc. As for alcohol, same thing add the numbers up. There is nothing wrong with a glass of wine here or there but to drink excessively and kill your liver and wallet, no thank you. Sometimes we have temptations and we need to learn to leave it at a temptation. We need to stop and think do I really need this cigarette? If you have an alcohol addiction please visit
